Joanne Farrell

Shop owner and full-time groomer Joanne Farrell brings energy, creativity, and leadership to our team. With an emphasis on safety and comfort, she will work with you to choose and provide the service that’s best for you and your dog. Most of her days are filled with a joyous assortment of Shih Tzu’s and Poodles and if it’s a great day, lots of Yorks!

Jessica Ahearn

Jessica Ahearn is a skilled, knowledgeable groomer with 10 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician prior to choosing grooming as her career. She is active in animal rescue, having had her heart stolen by the Pekingese, and is our in-house cat groomer. She has a unique skill set where cats are concerned, and has a wealth of information. Jess also has an affinity for Terriers and has, over the years, refined her signature style into the stunning clips you see today.

Abbey Maynard

Abbey Maynard has a soft energy and a warm personality that sets animals at ease. The dogs just love her. Abbey has special talent for longer body clips on Golden Retriever, Aussie and Border Collie-type coats. No one does it better. She also holds a special place in her heart for her Rough Collies, Pomeranians and Shih Tzus. Her laugh lifts us up and reminds us how lucky we are to work together!

MARGIE SCHWARTZ

Margie comes to us after many years of working in veterinary hospitals. Her compassion runs deep and true and the dogs can tell she cares. She has earned their trust and they feel safe with her. We are the fortunate ones to have Margie looking after our pets.

Skyelour Blair-PRetty

Skyelour’s happy place is with the animals. She’s worked with large animals at local farms, owns 4 horses and a Border Collie and grew up in a family that has been rescuing and re-homing cats for many years. She is thrilled to add grooming to her resume.

megan ayers

Megan has been working with and caring for animals for many years. Her love of dogs led her to a career in grooming. She’s especially fond of the curly coated breed and retrievers. She lives in South Hero with her husband a 2 labs.

Jen Cortez

Jen Cortez took up grooming before it was even a thing (34 years ago to be exact) and we consider her an early-adopter. She has finally returned to us after 10 years in warm, sunny Florida.  She is kind, big-hearted and we are lucky to have her on our team. In addition to grooming, Jen takes care of the shop and keeps things running smoothly.

EMMA pouech

Emma Pouech is our Front-of-The-House Multi-Tasker-Extraordinaire. Usually the friendly face greeting you at the front desk, or the cheerful voice on the phone, Emma keeps Doggie Styles running smoothly by taking care of our clients and groomers.  She can work schedule-magic, find the perfect coat or fit your dog for a harness, at a glance. She is our in-house wizard!

Miranda Truehill

Miranda arrived here from Wales, via Australia and Louisiana. She will be the friendly face that greets you at the front desk, the unusual accent you hear on the phone and the witty responder when you send us a text!

Kathy Rowley

Kathy Rowley is our "Fairy Dogmother." Clients jokingly complain that she spoils their dogs, but hey - it's her job! The dogs trust and feel safe with her. When she doesn’t have a little one in the tub, you can find her in her glider-rocker with one or more dogs in her lap!

RESCUE & Pet Supply Drive

Animal Rescue is a huge part of what we do and love. We donate hundreds of hours of grooming services for animals in desperate need of some TLC.  The pups all leave smelling like flowers and ready for adoption. Vermont English Bulldog Rescue is one of our largest partners. They place hundreds of dogs each year. The hard work and dedication of their volunteers is inspiring. We also have an ongoing pet supply drive to help stock local animal shelters. Learn more
