Joanne Farrell

SadieI love Vermont!

I have spent most of my life in Burlington and now live in Milton with my husband of 15 years, Keith.  His father, Jim,  lives with us and is essential when it comes to caring  for our animals. Since our family always seems to include at least three dogs,  Jim keeps a very busy schedule of giving out cookies and opening the door to the yard!

I graduated from the University of Vermont with BA in Psychology and also have a Certificate in Massage Therapy from the Vermont School of Professional Massage.  I practiced Massage Therapy for many years until I realized I really needed to work with animals.  I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to train as a Pet Groomer in 2003.  My Grooming career began at Milton Vet Hospital, followed by buying a little shop in Colchester, and is still going strong here  as an Owner/Groomer at Doggie Styles.File_000

The dogs in the slide show below have been fostered and/or adopted by my husband Keith and I.  They are from all over the US, brought to Vermont by various volunteer driven rescue organizations including Franklin County Humane Society, Humane Society of Chittenden County and All Breed Rescue: Charlotte, Willis, Jack Maroo, Midge, Benji, and JayJay. They are our family, though some of them have lived their full lives and passed on, we hold them in our hearts forever.

The photo's below represent a small sample of Joanne's grooming portfolio.
